The Congress on Innovation in Sustainable Construction (CINCOS'12), organised by the Platform for Sustainable Construction, was held between 20 and 22 September at the Rectory Building of the University of Aveiro.
Innovation in strengthening competitiveness is increasingly linked to environmental sustainability and CINCOS'12 is an event that naturally arises from the need to bring together all the players interested in this issue, such as local authorities, companies, R&D centres, business associations and others.
Téketo was present, with Eng. Laertes Mota took part as a speaker in the second thematic session "Construction and Rehabilitation Technologies and Systems" (Sustainability in Modiko® Construction - article published in the congress proceedings) in an event that, in addition to the five thematic sessions - "Materials and Products for Sustainable Construction", "Construction and Rehabilitation Technologies and Systems", "Energy and Environmental Impact and Performance", "Use of Natural Resources" and "Economics and Management of Sustainable Construction" - there was also an "Exhibition Space" and a space for debate comprising four round tables on the themes of "Sustainability and Innovation", "Sustainable Cities", "Sustainability and Markets" and "Clusters - Networking".
